It made it an extra special day by having both Faith-Lee and Zachary there and I had both of them helping me unwrap my presents!  Zach hasn’t even had a birthday yet, but he knows what to do!

Any how had a wonderful day and enjoyed having the family over and making it a special day!

So far she has had her monies worth out of it already because she has not stopped playing on it!  It was a job to get her to wait to open her present because it was something she asked for and saw the label that said from “Mummy, Daddy, Nannies and Grandad’s”, and she knew everyone was chipping in which to her meant one thing…a “Nintendo!”.

With the snow lately that has hit the country unfortunately my Mum and Dad couldn’t make it so we did a video call via Skype so that she could show opening her presents.

Another thing Faith-Lee got for her birthday was a pretend register used in schools.  Basically she loves playing schools and is always pretending to be a teacher and doing lessons on her whiteboard she has.  So Julia managed to find a pretend register on eBay.

Later on that day, her best friend come over called Eloise, those two have always been great friends.  They both had a great time playing, having a go at pass the parcel and musical statues.

Faith-Lee had more visitors, they were our next door neighbours – Steve, Michelle, Hayden and the twins Scarlett and Ashton.  Hayden gave Faith-Lee a lovely present which she has been playing with a lot because Bratz dolls have always been a favourite of hers. 

Faith-Lee and Hayden had a lot of fun playing with the balloons, taking photos, recording their voices and making cartoon strips on the Nintendo.

I had a go at making Faith-Lee a birthday cake, it was with a dancer sitting on top of the cake with stars all over it.  I think I must have spent around 6 hours in the kitchen but was pleased with the results and Faith-Lee was happy with the cake which is the main thing. 

She got some lovely presents from everyone one, some being Merlin the first series (she loves the programme) from Nanny Maureen and Grandad Harry, The Wii Fit Plus and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.  Faith-Lee had a go at the game and did some bobsleighing sitting on the Wii Fit as if in a bobsleigh.

Nanny Sheila had put together a few games one being “Pass-the-parcel” and guess what?  the birthday girl won! –I say it was a fix but there we go. 

Shortly after the games it was birthday cake time.  Nanny Sheila had got Faith-Lee a Tinkerbelle birthday cake which made her day as she loved it! 

Shortly later Clare and Jen came after work to wish Faith-Lee a happy birthday with presents.  Shortly she was tucked into bed by them and wasn’t long before asleep after a long day!

Today Faith-Lee purchased the DVD G-Force today with some of her birthday money she received for her birthday.  So I assume we will all be watching this tomorrow when she gets up! 

Everyone seemed to enjoy it all, shortly after Faith-Lee was picked up from school had a bite to eat then Julia opened her birthday presents from everyone.  Julia got a load of nice presents including pyjamas, Leona Lewis album.

Faith-Lee then brought out the birthday cake with candles and all sang “Happy Birthday”. 

We all had a bit of cake each with a lovely cup of tea!
