Visiting Santa Claus

Image0043Today Faith-Lee saw Santa Claus today and told him what she would like for Christmas.  He asked her about her missing front Tooth and was surprised at how much she got for a tooth!  :)

He then gave her a present to put under the tree and open on christmas day…but while in the car on our way home she opened it…she just could wait any longer!  LOL

Paper Chains

Image0040Faith-Lee was given a pack of cut paper to make paper chains to decorate her bedroom.  So today I helped her put them together so that she could put them up in her room. 

With a lot of licking and a couple of staples later the chain was finished.  She hung them from her bookshelf in her bedroom using blu-tak (we haven’t got any left now she used so much).  :)

All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth

Image0039Today Faith-Lee’s front tooth came out – it was causing her a lot of grief whenever she ate and had a few tears here and there.

It got to the point where it was so loose that she wanted me to pull it out.  So I did, and bless her she was ever so brave, she didn’t put up a fuss when I pulled at it.

She has put the tooth into her pot ready for the tooth fairy tonight, so she is hoping the fairy will pay for her tooth.  :)

Face Painting

Faith-Lee for her birthday got some face paints and so thought she would give it a go!  I think she did a good job as seen as its her first go, she did paint my face – it was of Count Dracula – unfortunately the battery on my camera had run out and so there isn’t a picture!  “What a shame” I hear you all say.   ;)

Faith-Lee’s 7th Birthday

It was Faith-Lee’s birthday yesterday.  She turned 7 – how time has gone!  She hasn’t been very well Faith-Lee's 7th Birthday (2009)the last 3-4 days with a stomach bug that was making her sick, unfortunately she was sick the previous night so we did wonder whether she would enjoy it as she should do.  But bless her she did have fun especially with the family being there!

She got some lovely presents from everyone one, some being Merlin the first series (she loves the programme) from Nanny Maureen and Grandad Harry, The Wii Fit Plus and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.  Faith-Lee had a go at the game and did some bobsleighing sitting on the Wii Fit as if in a bobsleigh.

Nanny Sheila had put together a few games one being “Pass-the-parcel” and guess what?  the birthday girl won! –I say it was a fix but there we go.  ;)

Faith-Lee_7th_Birthday-012Shortly after the games it was birthday cake time.  Nanny Sheila had got Faith-Lee a Tinkerbelle birthday cake which made her day as she loved it! 

Shortly later Clare and Jen came after work to wish Faith-Lee a happy birthday with presents.  Shortly she was tucked into bed by them and wasn’t long before asleep after a long day!

Today Faith-Lee purchased the DVD G-Force today with some of her birthday money she received for her birthday.  So I assume we will all be watching this tomorrow when she gets up!  ;)
