Ice Skating on Christmas Eve

Today we went Ice Skating today and it was the first time for years for me and the first time for Faith-Lee. We managed to do a lap round the rink but unfortunately Faith-Lee wasn’t too keen on it and came off – this left me on my own for about 30 minutes…But had some fun.

She wasn’t quite sure about ice skating and I think it was that she didn’t feel in control of her feet…because they were slip sliding all over the place. Perhaps see what happens next time.

I managed to have a skate for another 20-30 minutes or so on my own, managed to not fall over until the last lap or so when a young lad cut me up and couldn’t stop in time and collided!!!

No quite the Torvill and Dean but maybe next time!
